Spoilers Ahead!
If this is how the franchise will end, I can't think of any better way to go out then this.
The story line was perfect. They managed to keep me entertained throughout the whole film, without me ever getting bored. The character development for Woody and Bo Peep was done better then I was expecting.
The animation was flawless. Pixar just keeps getting better and better at it. Randy Newman's muscial score was a feeling of nostalgia, and I loved hearing the song "You've Got A Friend In Me" once again.
The voice acting was well done also. Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Annie Potts were great as usual, but the new additions Tony Hale (Forky) and Keanu Reeves (Duke Caboom) managed to steal every scene that they were in.
The new characters were really well done also. Forky, Duke Caboom, Ducky, and Bunny were perfectly written, and they were great new additions to the franchise. Gabby Gabby and the Ventriloquist dummies, were very well done as well, they actually managed to have some depth to them.
The humor was well done also. The standouts humor moments where when the Unicorn mentioned trying to get the dad arrested, when the toys kept sabotaging the RV, and Ducky and Bunny's ideas.
The emotion was perfectly done as well. The flashback as to what happened to Bo Peep was the perfect way to explain what happened to her. Woody's goodbye to the gang when he decided to stay with Bo Peep was perfect, and heartfelt. If this is the final Toy Story film, it was the perfect goodbye. But the way the film ended, it left the possibility for a sequel to happen, and they have so many direction to take is they decide to do a 5th film.
Overall, Toy Story 4 manages (If it is) to send the Toy Story franchise out in the best way possible due to its incredible story line, powerful emotion, flawless animation, nostalgic musical score, laugh out loud humor, well written new characters, strong character development, and great voice acting from Tom Hanks, Annie Potts, Tony Hale, Tim Allen, and Keanu Reeves.
Out of 4 stars I would give it...
