Madame Web: Review

 Very cheesy, but very fun at the same time!

The story line was so early 2000s, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't just have a fun time. Yes, it had so many plot holes and unresolved answers, but I genuinely just had a fun time with the movie. I really liked the concept of Cassandra trying to stop the future, and I enjoyed a lot of the film's humor.

The acting was solid. Dakota Johnson was about as good as she could've been. Sydney Sweeney was easily the best actress in the movie. I loved how she was almost like a gender swapped Peter Parker, because of how awkward her character was. I loved her. Adam Scott was great as a young Uncle Ben as well. 

The action scenes were fun. While they were nothing groundbreaking, it was still fun watching Dakota Johnson's facial expressions throughout the action scenes. The visuals in this movie looked amazing as well IMO. 

I know that they will never make a sequel to this movie, because of how badly it bombed at the box office, but I really hope that some of the characters come back in "Secret Wars". Mainly because Sydney Sweeney was perfect as Julia, and I want to see her in her suit more!

Again, not a perfect movie by any means, but I just genuinely had a fun time with it!

Out of 4 stars I would give it...
