My Review of "Unbreakable"

Despite a very slow start, Unbreakable is no doubt one of M. Night Sharmalan's most memorable films.

The story line is very different, the twist on the Superhero genre was incredible. What made it so unique in my opinion, was its thought provoking story line.

The acting was incredible as well. While Bruce Willis did a great job, Samuel L. Jackson was the standout actor in my opinion.

The action scenes were uniquely shot. The final fight scene between Bruce Willis and the bad guy was very intense and well done by M. Night.

The big twist towards the end was what disappointed most fans. However, I loved it. Turning Samuel L. Jackson into the villain was a very good decision in my opinion.

Overall, taking a little while to get going, Unbreakable is a unique and thought provoking take on the superhero genre. The film heavily benefits from its plot twist at the end, strong performances from its two lead stars, a powerful direction from M. Night, and uniquely shot action scenes.
