Though the storyline is predictable and familiar, A-X-L is a well done film thanks to its lead stars, espicially Becky G, surprisingly good characterization, powerful emotion, and strong directing.
This and Power Rangers prove, in my opinion, that Becky G is a more then capable actress who deserves more roles in the future.
Out of 4 stars I would give it...
