Uncharted: Review

 A fun and exciting film that had me smiling the whole time!

The story line was what I expected, fun! The decision to kill Antonio Banderas' character early was the only problem I had with the film. He is a good actor, and it was a shame to not see him have a fight scene at the end. The film had the tones of National Treasure and Indiana Jones, in the right way!

The acting was outstanding! Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg had such excellent chemistry, and I cannot believe the hate that the critics had for Wahlberg! Sophia Ali was very charming as well, her and Holland's chemistry was great!

The action scenes were so much fun, even if they were very unrealistic! They had a Fast and Furious vibe to them, but hey you got to do what you have to in order to keep the audiences' eyes glued to the big screen! Loved the direction by Ruben, much better than Venom!

The film left so many possibilities for a sequel! The reveal that Nathan's brother is alive might play a big factor, and the post credits scene had them bumping into someone! Wonder who it is! I also hope that they bring back Chloe Frazer, she was funny, and it would be interesting to see how they develop her and Drake's relationship going forward!

Out of 4 stars I would give it...
