Creed III: Review

 Creed III honors the legacy of the Rocky franchise.

The story line in this movie was a lot better than I thought it would be. I loved the character development of Adonis and Bianca. Amara was a very well written character also. I hope to see her developed in a future movie as well. Damian was a very compelling character as well. I was also stunned when they killed off Mary-Anne dying was something I did not see coming as well.

The acting was phenomenal. Jonathan Majors stole the show IMO. Michael B. Jordan and Tessa Thompson have gotten so much better as each film goes on. Mila Davis-Kent as Amara Creed was a surprisingly good performance as well. 

The fight scenes were some of the best of the series. They definitely had an Anime feel to them. They were more memorable than a lot of high budget action scenes (I'm looking at you Shazam! Fury of the Gods). Michael B. Jordan did a great job directing as well!

My only flaw with this movie was the absence of Rocky Balboa. I really missed Sylvester Stallone in this movie. I really hope he returns in a sequel.

They have a lot of possibilities for a sequel. I would love to see Mr. T return as Clubber Lang in a sequel. They also mentioned Apollo's other kids, so it would be neat to see them in a sequel as well. I really get the impression they are planning on going the route of making Amara Creed a boxer, which I am all for! Lots of possibilities!

Shazam! Fury of the Gods: Review

I will get back to writing long reviews for movies again soon!

While it has some heartfelt scenes, a couple funny moments, a strong performance from Grace Caroline Currey, and adorable chemistry between Jack Dylan Grazer and Rachel Zegler, Shazam! Fury of the Gods is a generic DC film that lacks the charm, heart, and consistently well written humor that the original film had!

Mister Mind and Dr. Sivana should have been the main villains! And they should have kept Billy dead at the end, it would have had more of an impact, but then tease his resurrection at the end!

The first post credits scene was so cringy! I cannot believe that they put James Gunn's wife in this movie! Stick with what Zack Snyder had planned!

The second post credits scene was arguably the best part of the movie! Mister Mind had so much potential, and it was stupid to not make him the villain!

The Super Mario Bros. Movie: Review

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is every Nintendo fan's dream come true! The film has excellent humor, great characterization, an outstanding musical score, stellar action scenes, and great voice acting to make this easily one of the best video game adaptations ever! I really hope that they are setting up a Smash Bros. Movie!

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: 2nd Review

While Jonathan Majors is great as Kang, the film's visuals look great, and it shows that the MCU has some sense of direction moving forward, Ant-Man's 3rd film suffers from poor pacing, boring action scenes, unlikable new characters, and lacking the heart of the first 2 movies. I was mixed on M.O.D.O.K. as well!

65: Review

I've lost my desire to write long reviews for movies, and will make them short.

While the film is nothing special, and some of the visuals look terrible, 65 boasts a great performance from Adam Driver, mostly good looking special effects, genuinely suspenseful moments, outstanding cinematography, and plenty of heart to make it an entertaining watch.
